THE DOUBLE UNI-KNOT
This is an easy to tie knot very reliable for joining together
two pieces of line of similar diameter.
It is the perfect knot to use when your line is getting too low
on the spool for optimum casting but you don't want to go to the
expense of a total line refill.
Tying Instructions:
1. Take the two lengths of line to be joined and overlap them
by 6" - 8". Tie a single uni knot by taking one tag end
and form a loop at about half way along the two strands.

2. Take the tag end over both strands and through the loop that
was formed. Repeat 5 or 6 times. Tighten the knot and trim off the
tag.

3. Tie another uni knot with the other tag end and tighten and
trim the tag. Gently pull the two sections of main line and the
two knots will slide together to form a neat join. Tighten as hard
as you can at this stage.

Remember to lubricate all knots before tightening to prevent
friction damage to the line. This is vitally important if lines
are of very low diameter.
