Directions: Take the road from Milnthorpe to Burton. As you reach Holme village the fishery is at the first bungalow on the right hand side.

A very well maintained 2 acre clear water fishery with Rainbow, Brown, Gold and Blue Trout stocked on a daily basis from about 2lbs to double figures. The lake has fishing platforms and a caravan with free tea and coffee. Flies can be bought on site.

Because of water clarity small buzzers in various colours do well and imitative fishing can bring bags of over 12 fish per session on this water where catch and release is allowed. Lures on intermediate lines work well with the new stocked fish. This is a water we know very well so ask if unsure. Highly recommended flies are epoxy buzzers, menaces, menace variants and Vee's Suspender Buzzers.
