Directions: Very close to Grasmere on the A591 Crooklands to Keswick road just after Ambleside when travelling towards Keswick. Like Grasmere parking is major problem.

The lake is under 1 mile long and is about ¼ mile wide in most places. Species are a few Brown Trout, Perch, Pike, Roach and Eels. Ledgering maggot, bread, casters or worm is productive here. Pike fishing is good and whilst the fish are not generally as big as in Grasmere they do run to the mid twenties and methods are the same.
