KILLINGTON LAKE

Available from shop or reservoir keeper.
Directions: This
large exposed lake lies alongside the M6 motorway and Killington
Lake Services is on the bank. Take the A684 from Kendal to
Sedbergh, cross the motorway and take the first turn to the right
and the lane ends up at the end of the reservoir at the Lillymere
runner. There is a small head of Brown Trout to 10lbs and Perch,
Roach, Pike and Tench. Kent Angling Association stock it monthly with
Rainbow Trout mostly in the 2lb - 3lb sizes and it fishes well to
worms, sweetcorn or fly. The Perch run to 3lb and the Pike to
about 30lb.
