comprises many natural, beautiful waters with spectacular scenery
containing wild Brown Trout, Perch and Pike. Many of these waters
including Lake Windermere, Coniston Water and Ullswater are free
fishing and all you require is an Environment Agency licence which
can be purchased from any post office.

In addition to the
natural waters we have lots of smaller reservoirs and man-made
lakes which contain Rainbow Trout and some of them also contain
Brown Trout. The quality of the stocked Rainbows is excellent with
fully finned hard fighting fish being the norm.

There are also
several excellent coarse fisheries available on a day ticket
basis. All the fisheries listed can be fished on a day ticket
basis and details of where to get the permits are given with each
fishery.

The clarity of our waters is excellent so we find that
low diameter lines are the key to success and if fly fishing then
using small imitative patterns pays big dividends as the Rainbows
very quickly adapt to feeding naturally as buzzer hatches are
prolific even on mild winter days. The following information is
given to assist you get the best from fishing the waters. As far
as we know it is accurate but we cannot be held responsible for
